A secluded estate located 12 miles from the MIT Campus it offers a remarkable setting for a one-day event devoted to scientific discovery.
The 1934 French château-style mansion has served as an MIT conference center since 1955 and sits on 25 acres of grounds designed by Frederick Law Olmsted. Food will be served throughout the day, including continental breakfast, coffee breaks, lunch, happy hour, and dinner.
DIRECTIONS
Parking
- There is ample parking available in the main parking area which is a short walk to the conference center. Please let us know if you need any special assistance.
Driving
- From Route 95 / Route 128: Take the local exits toward Dedham. Navigate toward Haven Street off Common Street (note that local entry configurations may use Common Street updates).
- From Boston: Head southwest on major arterial routes like I-93 south to I-95 south, or via local scenic parkways depending on traffic.
Airports
- Boston Logan Airport (BOS): A 23-mile drive taking roughly 30 to 40 minutes via I-93 S and I-95 S depending on traffic.
- T.F. Green Airport (PVD): Located 55 miles south in Rhode Island
