Reijo Pera: Using Embryos to Put Fertility First&#8221;<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Reijo Pera, joined Stanford from the University of California-San Francisco, where she was co-director of the human embryonic stem cell research center and director of the training program funded through the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine. In 2003 she established UCSF&#8217;s embryonic stem cell program, pulling together faculty with common interests in human embryonic stem cell biology.<\/p>\n<p><strong><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bedfordresearch.org\/symposium\/images\/stories\/pic-php.jpeg\" alt=\"I. Glenn Cohen\" width=\"125;\" height=\"188\" \/>Dinner Speaker: I. Glenn Cohen, JD<\/strong>, assistant professor at Harvard Law School, and co-director of the Petri-Flom Center for Health Law Policy, Biotechnology and Bioethics.<\/p>\n<p>Prof. Cohen is currently working on projects relating to reproductive technology and medical tourism, but his past work has included projects on end of life decision-making, FDA regulation, research ethics, and commodification.
