Dr. Renee A. Reijo Pera Talk Posted!

Dr. Renee A. Reijo Pera's 2009 Symposium Keynote talk has been posted to our site!  Dr. Pera leads the audience through a description of early egg development, and then expands on the topic of cell determination, discussing her research and findings in this area.  An excellent talk for anybody interested in Stem Cell Research, Dr. Pera uses simple language that can easily be understood by the lay-person, or weekend scientist.  The talk can be viewed here: http://www.bedfordresearch.org/symposium/videos/item/root/pera

What is the Symposium?

In 2002, the Foundation launched The Activated Egg symposium series. During this one-day event researchers studying eggs for reproduction or stem cell derivation share and discuss their research. With attendance limited to 100 the event provides a unique environment for investigators from academia, industry and infertility clinics to meet and form collaborations.
